Beauty is a measure of symmetry and a virtue all
over the world. To have a pleasant personality,
the two halves of the face should be identical.
But this was not the case for this young patient
from Los Angeles, U.S.A. Due to early
childhood loss of one front tooth, the midline
had shifted. The space for the missing front
tooth was half closed and a gap had been created
between the lateral teeth and the canines as can
be seen in the above photographs. "Such
case are always difficult to treat. Creating
space for the missing front tooth without bodily
moving the teeth is a real challenge. It
requires planning, foresight and a lot of
experience to be perfect every time. And above
all the expectations of the patient are very
high as he or she is specifically having the
work done to improve the looks." says Dr.
Vivek Saggar. And this is what the patient
had to say after the treatment,"
I had come to this setup on a recommendation
from a friend in the U.S. I wanted to change my
looks for a long time but could not afford the
treatment in the states. So had planned to visit
India for the purpose. But the results achieved
have surpassed my expectations. I am going to
recommend this setup to all my friends for even
minor procedures."
